Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion and Community Engagement
Agreement in Cornuda
On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for those involved, also creating opportunities for community engagement and solidarity among citizens.
The role of institutions and associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring services of supervision and coordination among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, guaranteeing active participation by the local community.
