Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Vulnerable Residents’ Lives

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community sources.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and meeting centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for those involved, creating opportunities for social interaction and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring monitoring and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
Overall, the convention represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens, aimed at protecting and enhancing the quality of life of the most vulnerable groups.
