Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Local Government and Volunteers

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event involved several representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, aims specifically to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total allocated funding for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Goals

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
