Cornuda Signs Social Inclusion Project for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and to improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The municipal administration has committed to support the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active community participation.
