Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Community Inclusion

Cornuda Agreement

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included local political and social force representatives, such as the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation services will also be strengthened, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life for the involved individuals, creating opportunities for community gathering and solidarity.

Role of institutions and associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting these initiatives by providing surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
