Cornuda Social Inclusion Project: Supporting Vulnerable Groups

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total allocated funds for the realization of this initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
