Cornuda Social Support Project Launch Aims to Improve Elderly and Disabled Lives

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project in support of the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funding allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for community interaction and solidarity among citizens.
