Cornuda Launches Social Support Project for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the realization of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.

The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved people, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has affirmed its commitment to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
