Cornuda social support project boosts inclusion with €100K funding

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, creating opportunities for gathering and solidarity among citizens.

Role of Institutions and Associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
