Cornuda Social Support Project Aims to Improve Elderly and Disabled Lives

Agreement in Cornuda

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Goals

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transports will also be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating moments of meeting and solidarity among citizens.
