Cornuda Supports Vulnerable Groups Through New Social Inclusion Project

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for those involved, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing surveillance and coordination services among the involved parties.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
