Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Inclusion with €100K Funding

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in support of the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity.
Role of institutions and associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
