Cornuda social support project fosters inclusion with €100K funding

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved several representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total funding allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also fostering moments of meeting and solidarity among residents.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved parties.
