Cornuda Social Support Project Aims to Improve Vulnerable Residents’ Lives

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating opportunities for social interaction and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing surveillance services and coordinating the various involved components.
Voluntary associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
Overall, the convention represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at protecting and improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable populations.
