Cornuda Unites to Support Vulnerable Residents in New Social Project

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by several representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed itself to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
