Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Aid Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be strengthened, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for those involved, also creating opportunities for community gatherings and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved parties.
