Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
