Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion and Community Collaboration
Agreement in Cornuda
On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Expected activities and objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating moments of meeting and solidarity among citizens.
The role of institutions and associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
