Start of the agreement and participants

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held in the Casa Sociale hall of Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event saw the participation of some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

Planned activities and specific goals

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
