Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Inclusion with €100K Funding

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a projectsupporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transports will also be enhanced, and listening and meeting centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for those involved, creating opportunities for community gatherings and solidarity.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
