Start of the Convention and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
