Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will have a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation will be strengthened, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
