On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved several representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the realization of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and EU funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
