On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funding allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
