On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
