Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to approve a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and EU funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
