Start of the Convention and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various voluntary associations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
