Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was signed at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to implement a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable segments. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
