Start of the agreement and participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, among them the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is about one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker social groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
