On early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport systems will also be strengthened, and listening and gathering centers established.
