Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is about one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community sources.
Planned Activities and Specific Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker segments. Additionally, social transport will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
