On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
