Start of the Convention and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer associations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transport will be enhanced, and listening and aggregation centers will be established.
