On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transport will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
