Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer organizations.

Goals and Funding

The project, which will span two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union sources.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Additionally, social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
