Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will have a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total allocated sum for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union grants.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
