Cornuda Social Support Project: Enhancing Lives of Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups. Furthermore, social transportation will be strengthened, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
