Cornuda Social Support Project Launch: Collaboration & Inclusion Efforts
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Attending the operation were some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Community funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
