Community Initiative Launches Support for Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transportation will be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
