Regional EU-funded social project in Cornuda supports vulnerable populations

Start of the agreement and participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and EU funds.

Planned activities and goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the vulnerable groups. Social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
