Community Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda

On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed by regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and opportunities for socialization for the most vulnerable. Additionally, social transport will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
