Cornuda Social Support Project Launch Aims for Community Inclusion

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives from the quartiere association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the weaker social groups. Additionally, social transport will be enhanced and listening and gathering centers established.
