Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Led by Local Authorities and Volunteers

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convenio was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of seniors and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transport services will be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
