Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Community and Institutional Collaboration

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the district association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community grants.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the groups most in need. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
