Community Collaboration Initiatives in Cornuda to Support Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the meeting hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
