Local Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda Initiative
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total sum allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community sources.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
