Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional and European Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the target groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening centers and gathering spots will be established.
