Community Initiative in Cornuda Supports Vulnerable Groups with €100K Funding

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of seniors and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
