Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches in 1996 Supporting Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
