Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and Institution Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total budget allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Additionally, social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
